These terms apply to CSV Power Editor and the website at csvpowereditor.com. They are practical launch terms for an indie Mac utility.
Use of the app
You may use CSV Power Editor to open, inspect, clean, compare, filter, edit, merge, and export files you are allowed to process. You are responsible for your files, backups, exports, and downstream use of edited data.
Trial, free mode, and Pro
CSV Power Editor is planned as a free download with a 14-day full Pro trial. After the trial, free mode supports files up to 300 rows. Lifetime Pro is planned as a one-time $14.99 Mac App Store in-app purchase that unlocks larger files and MCP automation. Final App Store availability and pricing may depend on Apple approval and regional pricing.
Apple purchases
In-app purchases, refunds, family sharing availability, taxes, and payment processing are handled by Apple under Apple's App Store terms and policies.
MCP automation
MCP lets compatible AI agents operate on the open workbook through a local server. Only enable MCP and destructive tools for agents and workflows you trust. You are responsible for reviewing edits, exports, saves, and any data shared with third-party AI clients.
No professional advice
CSV Power Editor is a data editing utility. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, compliance, or professional advice. You are responsible for validating transformed data before relying on it.
No warranty
The app and website are provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect file compatibility, or that every file can be opened, transformed, or exported without issue.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, CSV Power Editor and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or goodwill arising from your use of the app or website.
